1. Zillow is now live inside ChatGPT Buyers can open ChatGPT and say "Show me homes in Cobble Hill under $1.2M with outdoor space" and get live Zillow listings — with photos, prices, and maps - right in the chat. No app. No filters. No scrolling. Here's what matters for agents: ChatGPT can't see your listing photos. It reads your written descriptions. If your remarks say "spacious 2BR" instead of "south-facing corner unit with 10-foot ceilings, in-unit washer/dryer, and a private balcony overlooking a garden" — you're invisible to every buyer who searches by conversation. The listing description just became the most important marketing copy you write all week.
2. Google AI Mode just went global with Gemini 3 Google's most powerful model now powers AI Overviews on every search globally. Over 2 billion people see AI-generated answers before they ever click a link. You can now go from an AI Overview directly into a full AI Mode conversation to dig deeper. Google also expanded Personal Intelligence to AI Mode in Search - connecting your Gmail to deliver personalized results. The same "connected apps" capability we covered in Gemini two weeks ago is now baked into Google search. The direction is clear: search is becoming personal, conversational, and AI-first.
3. OpenAI is shipping a new ChatGPT model this week Sam Altman confirmed a new chat model is rolling out this week - likely a general-purpose version of GPT-5.3. If you use ChatGPT daily, your outputs may feel improved - more accurate or sharper. Maybe a little faster. You don't need to do anything, the update happens automatically. Remember, this is the benefit of building systems around workflows that don’t depend on a specific models. When one updates you’re already prepared to take advantage.
HOT TAKE
There's a new term you need to know: Answer Engine Optimization (AEO). When someone asks ChatGPT or Google AI "Who's the best agent in [your neighborhood]?" - that answer is now a real lead channel.
The difference from SEO: Google ranked web pages and AI ranks people. It pulls from your Google reviews, your website and your Zillow profile. Every directory that mentions you all at once. It's not about keywords but whether multiple independent sources agree you're the expert in your market. This is a major shift in how clients find agents and the ones who are focused on it are gonna have a big impact to their business.

Open ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Mode search and type: "Who is the best real estate agent in [your neighborhood]?"
Look at what comes back. If you're not named - that's how your next buyer sees you right now. If a competitor is named - look at the sources cited in the answer. Those are the platforms you need to be on.
Then try it with a long-tail query buyers actually ask: "I'm looking for a pet-friendly condo in [your market] with a doorman and low maintenance fees. Who should I work with?"
This takes 60 seconds. The answer might change how you spend the next 6 months.
