Tuesdays are 3 AI updates, one hot take, one action. Weekends are 1 practical real estate agent workflow.
Claude had another HUGE week. Anthropic gave it a memory that follows you into everything, then handed it a browser of its own that runs in a panel inside the desktop app. In between, Salesforce put its entire CRM inside Claude. None of it showed up as an announcement in the app, which is how most of you would have missed all three.
1. Claude now remembers you in every chat and every Cowork task. On August 25 Anthropic connected the memory in Claude's two separate products for the first time. Cowork is the version that runs multiple tasks for you in the background, like the Monday farm report from a couple issues back. Chat is the one you talk to directly. Until last week, briefing one left the other blank. Now, in Anthropic's own words, "what Claude remembers from your chats is there" when Cowork runs a task, and it works the other way too. It's on automatically, not a setting you have to find, and it behaves the same on the free plan as it does on Max. Health and personal beliefs stay out of memory by default. Anything else it's kept, you can read and delete in Settings.
2. Salesforce put its whole CRM inside Claude. On August 26 Salesforce and Anthropic launched Claudeforce, a plugin that drops 37 of Salesforce's built-in sales tools directly into a Claude conversation. Instead of logging into Salesforce to check a deal or log a call, you ask Claude, and it reads and writes the live data itself. One login now covers a whole team instead of setting up each person separately. Pricing isn't public - Salesforce's own announcement says it's "subject to change" - and it's live as a pilot now, with a wider beta coming in September. Most agents I work with don't run Salesforce, but plenty of teams and luxury brokerages do, and this is the direction every CRM is headed.

3. Claude now has its own browser, and it opens in a panel right inside the desktop app. On August 26 Anthropic gave Claude Cowork a built-in browser, so when a task needs a website, one opens in the side panel and Claude navigates it and types into it while you keep working on whatever else is in front of you. A small globe icon shows up when it's ready, one tap puts the browser on screen next to the conversation, and it's the first version of this I've used that didn't feel like a science project. It's Claude's own browser rather than yours, so it never touches your tabs or your saved passwords, and you carry logins over one site at a time with banking, email and single sign-on left out unless you add them yourself. Rolling out this week to Pro, Max and Team on Mac and Windows so if it isn't there yet give it a few days.
HOT TAKE
Somebody is going to read all this and ask me, “But Matt, what if I get locked in to Claude and it knows all my stuff?” Get locked in. The agents I know who hedge across three assistants have a shallow relationship with all of them, and they're the same people who have been “evaluating AI” since 2024. Pick the one that's shipping fastest and tell it everything about how you work. Whatever you give up in portability, you'll earn back in the first few months after you dive in.

1 THING TO TRY
Open Claude - free plan is fine, phone or desktop both work - tap your name in the corner, then Settings, then Memory. Read what it already thinks it knows about you. For most people that's close to nothing, which is the point. If you don’t like something in there or feel it’s off, then change it. For example you could get more specific about the neighborhoods you focus on.
After you’ve saved the update open a brand new chat - a different one - and ask it something that depends on that, a neighborhood update email as example. A good result is that it just knows.

Orange County Luxury Summit Claude Workshop
BOSTON LIVE & IN PERSON
After a packed house in Cali I’m bringing the Claude 1-day workshop to Boston for an exclusive session. Here’s a few quotes from an agent who attended:
"I'm an in-person learner, so I was really excited to see Matt was going to be at the SoCal Summit. I learned so much, and there's so much I want to implement in my business. I feel really set up to create a workflow when I get back home. Content creation, market reports, neighborhood guides, being able to convert all of that into social media and evergreen content, and then schedule it so it’s a workflow that happens every Monday morning. That will really help elevate my business."
It’s just $499. Grab your seat here or email me if you’d like to attend future virtual sessions of the course.
