Tuesdays are 3 AI updates, one hot take, one action. Fridays are 1 practical real estate agent workflow.
On Tuesday I wrote that the wall between the chatbot and the AI worker came down. Claude just folded its separate Cowork app back into the regular window, so the part that actually goes and builds things now sits one toggle away from a normal conversation. OpenAI bolted the same capability onto ChatGPT the same week. One less place to go, in both.
To show what that one interface can really do, I pointed it at a job agents normally hand to a web designer: a single-property listing page for a luxury listing. I included screenshots of the walk through in the new Claude desktop app to make it clear. If you'd rather live in ChatGPT, there's a shortcut at the end to bring your whole setup across.
Step 1: Switch to Cowork and write the job
Open Claude. It's one window now, with no separate app for the agent. Under the message box is a small toggle: Chat for a normal back-and-forth, Cowork for when you want it to go do something across your files. Flip it to Cowork and type the job. Here's the exact prompt I used:
"Build a clean single-property listing page for 123 Coast Live Oak, Montecito. 4 bed, 3.5 bath, 3,200 sq ft, asking $4.995M. Include a headline, a short description, a features list, and a 'schedule a showing' button. Make it look high-end."

Step 2: Point it at a folder
Before you send, click Project or folder right under the box and choose the folder that holds everything for this listing: the photos, your notes etc. This simpler interface helps Claude work from your files and saves your projects in the same area as your chats. Pick an existing folder, or use Choose a different folder to browse to one.

Step 3: Give it access
Claude asks before it touches anything. You'll get a dialog: Allow this Cowork session to access this folder? It spells out that it can read and modify files in that one folder for this session, and nothing outside it. Click Allow.

Step 4: Let it build
Send it, and watch it work. Claude lays out its plan, loads the tools it needs, and starts building an actual HTML page. On the right you get a live rail: Progress, Outputs, and the Context it's pulling from. When it finishes, the listing page lands in Outputs, ready to open, tweak, or hand to your web person. Read it like an editor and fix the couple of details only you know.

Prefer ChatGPT? Bring your setup with you
If you live in ChatGPT, you don't have to rebuild any of this. OpenAI relaunched its app with a nearly identical layout and a new Work tab that does the same job Cowork does.

ChatGPT's new Work tab
And when you set it up, it offers to import straight from Claude: your tools and setup, your projects, and your recent chats, with a note that your existing Claude setup won't be touched. Check what you want, hit Continue, and you're running the same workflow in ChatGPT a minute later.

What this actually changes
For a year these were separate and seen as quite different but by bringing down the wall separating them you’re seeing where the industry continues to move. Agents embedded in everything. Pick one listing this weekend and build its page - you'll learn more in in a few minutes than a month reading about it.
Stop typing what you could say in 10 seconds.
Wispr Flow turns your voice into clean, professional text inside any app. Emails, Slack, client updates — speak once, send without editing. 4x faster than typing.
My Workshop @ the Compass SoCal Luxury Summit - Aug 12
We're one month out from my August 12th workshop at the Compass SoCal Luxury Summit in Orange County. It’s an in-person, full-day version of my Claude Cowork workshop. Building real deliverables like this listing page, live, is exactly what we'll cover.
You do NOT have to attend the entire event and can just go to my workshop if you want. Just respond directly if you’re interested and I'll provide you a special discount code.
