Tuesdays are 3 AI updates, one hot take, one action. Fridays are 1 practical real estate agent workflow.

On Tuesday I made the case that the video tools are no longer the hard part, which means the real question is what’s worth making? I think a good place to start is a short lvideo about the area you sell the most in. Provide some insight to that area that is a common question people ask the real estate there. The below will help you create one in about 20 minutes. You pick the topic, script it in Claude, generate the clips, and publish it.

A big thing to remember is that this lesson focus on how you can use Claude in connection with one of the video “harnesses”.

If you already pay for Google Workspace, start in Google Vids. If not, add a hosted connector: Higgsfield's is a good option b/c by using it you get access to most of the major video models. Just beware of the annual plan unless you will make video constantly. Credits disappear the day you cancel. OpenArt is the easiest, one link and a login with no API key, and Replicate or fal.ai are the cheapest per clip. For this walkthrough I am using OpenArt, because it is free to set up and you only pay for what you make.

Set up the connector first (2 minutes)

Do this once and the rest is fast. In the Claude app, add a custom connector under Customize > Connectors, paste https://mcp.openart.ai/mcp, and sign in. You’ll be prompted to setup an account.

That is the whole setup: no API key, and no subscription to start, you just pay a small amount per clip. Now Claude can generate video for you inside a normal chat.

Pick the video worth making (5 minutes)

Start by letting Claude ask about a neighborhood you do the most deals in. Let’s focus on expertise content that gets you named when someone asks an AI. Make sure your email is connected to your Cluade and ask:

"Look through my last 50 buyer and client emails and list the questions people ask most about specific neighborhoods, in their own words."

No email connected? Ask: "What do buyers moving to [city] most often ask about [neighborhood] before they tour?" Pick the question you can answer better than anyone and start there with your video subject.

Have Claude write the shot list (5 minutes)

Now turn that question into shots. Paste this into Claude:

"Use OpenArt to build me a video. I sell homes in [neighborhood, city], and the question I want this video to answer is: [paste the buyer question]. Write me a 24-second lifestyle video, three shots of 8 seconds each, that answers it by showing the FEEL of living here to a [buyer type, e.g. young family / downsizing couple]. No shots of any specific house. For each shot, write one clean generation prompt: camera move, time of day, mood, and what is in frame. Keep it calm and cinematic, not flashy."

You now have three shot prompts and a video with a point of view, not just pretty footage.

Generate your sample clip (3 minutes)

Tell Claude: "Using OpenArt, generate the first shot from my list as an 8-second vertical clip." If it comes back off, say what to change in plain words, like "slower push, warmer light," and run it again. One good sample proves the whole thing works before you make the other two.

Assemble and caption (5 minutes)

Happy with the sample? Generate the other two shots the same way, then use Claude to put all three in order, front to back, in whatever you already use, your phone's photos app, Instagram or Google Vids. Add a short line of text on the first clip naming the neighborhood, and keep the whole thing under 25 seconds. If you shot the footage yourself and just want it cleaned up instead, you can also use the Google Vids move from Tuesday: tell it to fix the color and steady the shot by typing what you want.

Then publish it where AI can read it

A video only helps AI recommend you if there is text around it to read. Give it a title that is the buyer's exact question and a short written description with the neighborhood and your answer. Post it on your own site or social channel that you use the most - Instagram, YouTube - and link it from your agent profiles. Do this for the neighborhoods you sell in most and you build a small library of local expertise the assistants can cite. Keep the actual property photos real and shot in a high quality way, and let these videos take you in a different direction with lifestyle content and local knowledge.
