Tuesdays are 3 AI updates, one hot take, one action. Fridays are 1 practical real estate agent workflow.

The video and image tools continue to improve (Nano Banana etc), but more importantly for agents, you no longer need to go to those tools, you can simply ask Claude to do it for you. I think that simple fact will help agents (or their teams) do the basic video editing necessary. Here is the latest news in this space…

1. Claude can now make the video for you. Using the Higgsfield video tool and their connector to Claude gives you access to every major video model, Google's Veo, Kling, Seedance, from inside a normal chat. You describe the shot you want, Claude picks the model, sets it up, generates the clip up to 4K, and hands it back in the conversation, no separate app and no API keys. I typed "an eight second sunrise drone push over a coastal neighborhood, calm, cinematic," and had a usable clip in seconds. One thing to know before you rush in: Higgsfield bills annually and runs on credits you forfeit if you cancel, so it is a real commitment, and there are pay-as-you-go connectors like Replicate and fal.ai that take more work to setup but also plug into Claude the same way and charge by the clip instead. Either way, for a listing video this collapses a job that used to mean an editor or a whole afternoon into a few sentences.

2. Google put a video editor inside Google Vids that takes plain English. Google added its Omni model to Google Vids, so you can tell it to change the style, fix the color, make the footage look more real, or strip background noise, all by typing what you want instead of learning an editor. If you already live in Google Workspace, this is the lowest-friction way to clean up a walk-through you shot on your phone. It will not shoot the video for you, but it will make the one you have look more pro.

3. The image models continue to improve. ByteDance's Seedream 5 and Google's Nano Banana Pro now hold detail and lighting well enough that an AI-staged room reads as a real photo. That is genuinely useful for an empty listing you want to show furnished. Most MLS rules and your state license both treat an altered photo of the actual property as a misrepresentation risk, not a creative choice. Use it on vacant staging and on lifestyle, and label it. Keep the actual rooms exactly as they are.

HOT TAKE

The video models are no longer the point. You should be using all of the models via one of the video harnesses (Higgsfield etc) via Claude. If you know how it works, you barely touch the software underneath. You tell it what you want, it chooses the model and hands you the result. What pays off now is being clear on what you actually want and on how Claude works with partner tools. Learn that and you can get many jobs done from one place

1 THING TO TRY

Make one clip this week, and make it the neighborhood, not the house. Start with what you already pay for: if you're in Google Workspace, open Google Vids and cut a short lifestyle clip from footage you have, or just have Claude write you the shot list and the generation prompt. The point this week is not a finished video, it is to feel how little time the first draft now takes. Once that surprises you, Friday's issue turns it into a repeatable 20-minute build you can run from the pickup line.
